The Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls are located between Neriamangalam and Adimali on the Kochi - Madurai highway. Cheeyapara is counted amongst Kerala's most splendid waterfalls. The Valara waterfalls lies not very far from the Cheeyappara waterfalls. Valara waterfalls are 10 km from Adimali on the Kochi - Madurai highway. Valara features an astounding chain of waterfalls and provide a particularly magnificent treat for the eye. Valara has a chain of waterfalls surrounded by thick green forests. These waterfalls are surrounded by lush, dense forests that are home to a wide variety of small animals and birds. These sites make up an ideal picnic spot and people flock here with an intention to unwind. You can play near the water body or swim around or just laze around. This is also an ideal spot to go for trekking.
